History
Founded in 1962 by Selva Bonino
Giorgio, today the Officina Meccanica di Cerreto
is a modern and dynamic Biellese company operating
in the field of textile machinery construction.
Enlarged year after year with
the addiction of new departments, recently it
has been supplied with avantgarde technology
that allowed for implementing and optimised
and modern production process, with consequent
considerable savings in the cost of products.
Today the Officina Meccanica
di Cerreto is widely known on the international
market; its export share makes up 30% of its
production.
Its target markets are presently
Europe, South America and Asia, with India and
China.
The company acquired remarkable
experience and specialised in the construction
of packing and storing machines for products
such as yarn banks in dyeing and spinning mills;
cone, truncated cone and ball packing machines;
fabric rolls, doubled pieces packing machines.
Recently the company expanded
its range with the construction of packing and
selecting plants for non-woven rolls, moquette
and resing-bonded wads; the latter are supplied
with volume reduction devices which are absolutely
essential to cut down freight costs.
The company has also been
producing raising machines for fancy yarns since
its establishment: 1962.
Production range:
- Raising machines for yarns with direct
delivery on cones, hanks, cakes;
- Semi-automatic presses for yarns hanks
in pre-packed polyethylene bags;
- Packing presses fed by continuous polyethylene
films for hanks, pieces, dyed garments and
other products;
- Automatic packing machines for heatretractable
polyethylene yarn cones;
- Automatic packing machines for fabrics
rolls and doubled pieces;
- Complete plants for the packing and palletising
of yarn cones;
- Packing and selecting plants for non-woven
rolls, moquette and resing-bonded wads;
- Fabric inspection and rolling-up machines.
